Wat Chaiyatikaram at Ban Phon Muang, Phana District, Amnat Charoen Province; it is an old temple of villagers, and there is a precious Buddha image made of bronze enshrined 4 Buddha statues. It is said that the ancient villagers of Phon Muang acquired all 5 of them together when they were conscripted to fight in Vientiane in the reign of Chao Phraya the King of Suek Then, it is said that; at one time, a senior government official asked to invite one bronze Buddha image in a dancing posture, claiming that he would take it for the people to bathe in the water, but he never brought it back. So, there are only 4 left as you can see. The bronze Buddha images of Wat Chaiyatikaram, 1 body posture, 3 postures of Mara Wichai, cross-legged, 3 amulets; they were built with the art of Lan Xang artisans which is older than 300 years old The temple currently preserves them and will bring them out for the devotees to worship only in the celebration ceremony March only.
